**Students have access to Spelling City to practice their spelling words at home if they would like to.  We use Spelling City in the classroom to practice our words as well.  I will use the assigned activities as a grade of completion, meaning they will receive 20 points for each activity completed.  There are 5 activities assigned for each list.

Homework:
  • Reading Homework (This is for a grade):
    • I sent home the October calendar on Monday 9/30/19. **At the end of the month, the calendar will need to have a parent signature and total of minutes read and students need to turn it in with 5 days after the month ends.  Third grade students are required to read at least 400 minutes a month which works out to be about 20 minutes nightly for 20 days a month minimum.  This also goes in the grade book.
