  • We will stop each morning at 10:00 am to have a snack since our lunch is so late in the afternoon (12:38 pm) Please help your 3rd grader remember to grab a snack so they will be able to continue their focus.
Homework:
  • Reading Homework (This is for a grade):
    • I will send home the September Reading calendar on Thursday, August 29th. This is to be kept at home and all of the nightly reading recorded on it.  At the end of the month, the calendar will need to have a parent signature and total of minutes read and students need to turn it in with 5 days after the month ends.  Third grade students are required to read at least 400 minutes a month which works out to be about 20 minutes nightly for 20 days a month minimum.  This also goes in the grade book.
