Homework: Students will have Math homework on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. It is so important for students to work on their homework and bring it with them the next day as we use it as a learning tool and go over it as a class the next day and it does not benefit students who have not attempted the work on their own first. I appreciate the time you give to helping your child and the rest of the class be prepared for learning the next day!
Nightly reading and recording on October Calendar is also so important and fun!

Rules for the costume are the outfit must be school appropriate-no leggings that are not covered by shorts or skirts, face paint is allowed, masks are allowed as long as they are tied to the book character, shoulders must be covered.
Treats for the celebration: We will be watching the Disney version of the Jungle Book in the afternoon and treats would be wonderful! If anyone would like to send in treats for the class to enjoy that would be great! If your child has an allergy to specific things it may be helpful to send them with something special they can enjoy. I will let everyone know about any treats I am told are coming. Thank you in advance for helping us make our celebration delicious and fun!
**So far I have a parent bringing in caramel corn and apple juice. The party will start at 1:15 pm.
And Lastly...Conference Sign ups: Parents should have received an email asking you to go to a link I provided to sign up for a 15 minute parent teacher conference on one of the days we are conferencing next week. I have heard from most of the families but I have a some that have not signed up yet. If you did not receive that email and link please let me know so I can get that information out to you. The link will ask you to submit your child's name, your name and then to select one day and one time that you could meet with me at the school to talk about your wonderful child. I am really looking forward to meeting with everyone! I love my class!!
