Spelling City Assignments for List C27
*Spelling test will be on Thursday, April 30th this week.  Spelling City assignments are due by Sunday 5/3/20

ELA:  English Language Arts:

• Grammar-Quotation Marks in Dialogue 
• Readworks:  Reading articles and answering questions
• Vocabulary:  moist, brittle, crave, rectify, and vendor.  WOW word:  indispensable
• Writing:  Informational Writing lessons 9 and 10 and finishing our final draft.

Math: 

• Tuesday, April 28th:  Lesson 13.1  Equivalent Fractions:  Use Models
• Thursday, April 30th:  Lesson 13.2  Equivalent Fractions:  Use the Number Line 

•  Homework will be on every Tuesday and Thursday and is due the following day for 5 points in the gradebook.  Homework is a very important part of learning and retaining all that they are learning in class.  

Science:

Mystery Science Mini Lesson : Use the link on our blog page

Technology: 

• Students will become familiar with the different websites we will use in class and how to find the links on our class blog page.  
• Students will work on typing skills.

Snack:

• We will stop each morning at 10:00 am to have a snack since our lunch is so late in the afternoon (12:38 pm) Please help your 3rd grader remember to grab a snack so they will be able to continue their focus.

• April Reading Calendar:  Read 400 minutes or more at home and turn your minutes in at the end of the month. Parent signature needed.
